Smart Hospitality

Digitalization is the key

Digitalization is the key behind smart hotels offering. By continually interacting, learning and adapting, a smart hotel supports the experience for both: your guests and staff control for the customers

Building Level:

Each room is controlled by its own miniserver – essentially a hub for the automation. However, these are some of the functions that can be controlled centrally from a miniserver:

      Building management

Data such as temperature, humidity and air quality are continuously recorded. This data can then be sent to the relevant members of staff.

      Fire and water alarms

Smoke detectors, water sensors and temperature sensors ensure that the properties are continuously monitored. Upon detection, an alarm chain will immediately be triggered.

      Fresh air ventilation

When a room has not been occupied, perhaps because it is out of season, the building can automatically take off this to reduce stale air and mitigate mould growth.

      Room climate

Temperature sensors record data and notify the relevant members of staff of any significant deviations.

      Audio in communal areas

In communal areas such as restaurants, bars, lobbies etc. music can be played in a variety of ways from a range of sources such as Internet radio, streaming music services or locally stored music. If any of these areas is unoccupied, the music will automatically stop after a set period and only reactivated when the next person enters. Should an emergency occur, you can trigger an announcement in these rooms, using the text-to-speech feature, to inform both staff and guests.

      Room level:

      • Lighting Including options for dimming, changing colors and changing light temperature and hue.
      • Room Temperature Smart thermostats allow guests to make their room comfortable without the hassle of antiquated window A/C units.
      • Water Temperature Digital water temperature valves and sensors help control and maintain comfortable water temperatures for guests.
      • Curtains and Shades Motorized and automated window treatments give guests total control with the press of a button or the use of an app.
      • Smart TVs Many people are used to having smart TVs in their own homes, so it’s almost an essential amenity in a modern smart hotel.
      • Food Menus Digitized room service menus provide visitors with options available on a smart TV or phone app. Guest preferences could even be stored for future visits.
      • Smart locks & security solutions
      • Key Card integrations
      • Enhanced Event Rooms

When the rooms are integrated with Building Management System (BMS), it can:

->  control energy consumption (hot water, fuel, gas etc.). This control allows a better distribution of energy costs. Integration

->  manage the room according to its condition:

      – Booked and unoccupied

      – Bookes and occupied

      – Not booked.

      In each of these situations, it can be intervened in the control of lighting, heating, air conditioning;

      – if the air conditioning with the windows / doors is open, the “ECO” program allows energy savings by giving the customer the impression of identical comfort;

      – by controlling the temperature at the entrance and exit of each room, it can determine the level of loading of the air vents (preventive maintenance, energy saving).

      – check the water pressure in the circuits. This allows to determine the level of pump usage because premature wear generates a higher power consumption.

      – perform intelligent electrical management, namely, offloading electrical current from certain devices in the event of network failure. Thus electricity will always be available for devices related to security and access control.

      – be warned in the event of faults on the electrical or hydraulic system

      Features:

      • Room status management: The real-time and long-term room status of the hotel rooms are tiled display clearly.
      • Equipment management: unified management of hotel equipment can clearly know equipment specifications, equipment area, equipment status, and edit equipment information. At the same time, it supports single control and group control of equipment in different areas such as floors, guest rooms, and public areas.
      • Different scenarios: equipment scene linkage unified management settings to create a personalized experience. Support multiple dimensions such as equipment, room status, delay, timing, time period, repetition, etc. At the same time, through the template setting, one configuration can be applied to all guest rooms or public areas in batches, with zero error across borders efficiently.
      • Energy management: accurate statistics of hotel energy consumption based on the smart device metering function.
